I’m Gracie Scopes, a first-year Professional Music Business student at WaterBear, working within electronic music and live events photography.

My work focuses on documenting rave and club environments with an emphasis on authenticity and atmosphere. I aim to capture the energy of the crowd and the relationship between audience, music, and space, creating images that accurately reflect the live experience rather than staged moments.

I specialise in low-light photography and fast-paced environments, using available lighting and movement to create immersive visuals. My work is designed to support artists, promoters, and professionals with imagery that feels credible, current, and aligned with the electronic music industry.

Alongside live events, I also produce professional headshots for artists and industry professionals. These sessions are tailored to each individual, focusing on natural expression and strong visual identity, suitable for press use, branding, and promotional platforms.

“ Since meeting Gracie, we’ve used her for all of our events — and we genuinely wouldn’t go anywhere else now. She’s photographed multiple club nights for us, and every single time she absolutely nails it. Her photos don’t just look great (which they always do) — they properly capture the energy of the night. The atmosphere, the crowd, the little in-between moments… she somehow manages to document it exactly how we want it remembered. On a professional level, she’s an absolute dream to work with. She’s organised, reliable, and completely on it when it comes to style briefs. We can trust her to understand the vibe we’re going for and deliver it without needing endless back-and-forth. Her turnaround times are quick, she meets deadlines consistently, and the final products are always polished and ready to go. Beyond that, she’s just a genuinely easy and positive person to have around at events — which makes a huge difference in busy club environments. The whole process feels seamless from the beginning.”
